SMS Policy

Last updated: October 30, 2026

This policy explains the text-message (SMS) programs run on the BitPype platform. BitPype is the platform; the messages themselves come from the business you contacted — a business that uses BitPype for its website, bookings, and customer follow-up — and are sent via BitPype from that business's phone number.

1. What messages you may receive

If you give your phone number to a business that uses BitPype, you may receive text messages about your dealings with that business, including:

  • Appointment and booking messages — confirmations, reminders, and schedule changes for appointments you book.
  • Missed-call follow-up — if you call a business and your call is missed, a follow-up text from the same number you called, which may include an automated conversation that can answer questions and book an appointment for you.
  • Estimate follow-up — messages about an estimate you requested, including reminders while the estimate is open and an offer to get it scheduled.
  • Service and order notifications — updates about a service, order, or request you made with the business.
  • Replies to you — responses when you text a business's number first.

2. How you opt in

You opt in to receive these messages when you:

  • call a business's published phone number;
  • submit a form that includes your phone number (for example a contact, booking, or estimate form on the business's website); or
  • text a business's phone number.

By opting in, you agree to receive the messages described above at the number you provided. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

3. Frequency and rates

Message frequency varies — it depends on your interactions with the business, such as the appointments you book and the estimates you have open. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

4. How to opt out or get help

  • Reply STOP at any time to opt out. After you reply STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further text messages from that business's program.
  • Reply HELP for help, or contact the business you were communicating with directly.

5. Carriers

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to your carrier's network and coverage.

6. How your information is shared

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Your phone number and message content are used only to run the messaging described in this policy, as set out in our Privacy Policy.

7. Contact

For questions about a message you received, contact the business you were communicating with — its name and number are on the messages themselves. For questions about BitPype or this policy, reach us through https://bitpype.com.
